About us

Our organization takes part in BEA concept. We reside in BEA campus Olomouc with other businesses that provides expert services. One of our goals is to raise young people awareness of entrepreneurship and to provide support to starting entrepreneurs. We collaborate with various partners on regional events, such as seminars, trainings, business contests and conferences. Our main partners are TESCO SW a. s. and the Regional Centre Olomouc s.r.o. (RCO).

Our activities

Our main activities are the preparation and implementation of innovative and research projects for our member organizations, coaching, connecting the academic and entrepreneurial sector, management of innovations and R&D projects. We collaborate with the academic and entrepreneurial sphere in order to transfer of scientific results into practice.

A member of the jury was also Marek Vaculík, the director of the Innovation Cluster Olomouc, who presented the programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs in the introductory word.

D-day for students’ business projects

15th May was the D-day for 16 go-ahead students and graduates from the Moravian university college Olomouc, Palacký University Olomouc and College of Logistics. About the project 
Erasmus for young entrepreneurs (EYE) is a cross-border exchange programme which helps new or aspiring European entrepreneurs acquire the necessary knowledge for running small or medium businesses.  EYE also supports recently established micro and small businesses in participating countries. The stay abroad can last between one and six months.

BE EUROPE – Business Tandem for Europe is a network focused on building of a partnership in the context of the EU programme EYE. The BE Europe network comprises of 6 partners from 5 different countries. 


Benefits
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a win-win deal for both new and host entrepreneurs.

New entrepreneurs will benefit from on-the-job training in a host company abroad to develop their entrepreneurial skills and gain business knowledge and experience on managing a small business. 

Host entrepreneurs will benefit from innovative ideas from a motivated new entrepreneur. Moreover, this opportunity may also lead to other benefits such as the internationalisation of the business, access to new markets and possibilities for collaboration with new business partners.

About the project
The project was financially supported by the Olomouc region. Its aim was to increase the expertise of human resources of SMEs who are active in the Olomouc region with focus on their development and innovation. The main content of the project was the identification of the state of needs and the innovation potential of the regional companies with focus on their preparedness on the acceptance of supporting activities leading to an increase in their competitiveness. In the first phase of the project, a market survey was conducted to gain the needed information about SMEs. The results from the survey were evaluated and taken into consideration in the innovation plans of the Olomouc region. At the end phase of the project, a selection of suitable coaches for realization of innovation projects in SMEs took place.

About the project 
The main aim of the project was starting up and strengthening the innovation processes with focus on restructuring of the backward economy of the Olomouc region and its shift from agricultural to scientific and technical disposition. Further aims were an increase in competitiveness and economy productivity, a creation of new job vacancies with a higher added value and decrease in economic and social differences between the Czech Republic and other member states of the EU.

About the project  
The project was implemented with the financial support of the Olomouc region. The aim of the project was the transfer of the methodology of coaching from Switzerland to the Czech Republic with the aid of the experts from Platinn (Switzerland). The methodology described the procedures and experience with the coaching activities in western Switzerland. These procedures and experience were afterwards transferred into the Czech environment.
The workshop focused on the specific methods of coaching in SMEs took place afterwards. This workshop was led by a Swiss expert who introduced the methods of coaching and suitable indicators for an assessment of the target SMEs to the Czech coaches. After the workshop the initial verification of the Czech coaches in practice. For this purpose, SMEs located in the Olomouc region that showed interest in the coaching services were chosen.
